The SAS (Scandinavian airline Systems) airline is open a new terminal in Edinburgh Airport and a VIP Lounge is to be designed to promote Scandinavia and Scandinavian design. SAS clients pay a premium for the services of the VIP lounges and this should be kept in mind when designing the VIP lounge. The areas within the VIP lounge should feel peaceful and escape from the fast pace of the airport, the lounge should be a haven. The lounge will be use by all corporate, business and for leisure. Facilities should be provided to cover all with a first-class service and the space to be designed to be user friendly. Only minor alterations can be made to the structure when designing the interior and the space must clearly show the theme of contemporary Scandinavian design.
